First scientific Workshop of the IRN at Oslo
The first scientific workshop of the International Research Network AI & Cybersecurity has been organized in Oslo.
It was a fantastic way to end the year by laying the groundwork for stronger collaborations and exciting opportunities in 2025. Nice discussions and future collaborations in progress!
On 18 and 19 December, just before the Christmas break 🎅 and the end of the year ✨, we had two productive and inspiring days with the International Research Network on Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity.
Day 1:
We had a workshop at the Universitetet i Oslo (UiO), where we covered a wide range of topics, starting with the network presentation and moving through areas like AI-enabled cybersecurity, digital identity, machine and deep learning, biometrics, digital forensics, ethical hacking, deepfake generation and detection, and LLM-enabled cybersecurity risk assessment.
Day 2:
We came together at SINTEF Digital to plan the future of the network. We discussed how to strengthen our collaboration in 2025 by organising new events like conferences and seminars, developing joint PhD theses, participating in European projects and national projects, and increasing cooperation through shared publications and exchanges of students and faculty members.
