In 2014, the laboratory created the Application Development and Deployment Department (DDA) to proceed with the design of the laboratory’s software platforms. It is in charge of setting up a common organizational base for the different software.
Its activities are carried out in close collaboration with the System and Network Administration department around the following objectives:
- Perpetuation and enhancement of the GREYC software developments through the production of the showcase promoting the know-how of the laboratory’s researchers. A website has been designed to promote the software developed at the GREYC (many of them with the support of the DDA service).
- Contribution to the finalisation of software tools resulting from the research activities of researchers and contract staff who develop software products themselves.
- Ensure, in conjunction with our supervisors’ development units, the intellectual protection of the products of GREYC’s research activities.
