OUR HISTORY, FOR 25 YEARS

Since the 1980s, the computer science and electronics professors at Caen higher education sites have been working closely together and early wanted to join forces.

In this constant desire for unity, the successive groups have managed to bring together all the research teams in computer science and electronics of the campus of Caen. This dynamic enabled the GREYC, Research Group in Computer Science, Image and Instrumentation of Caen, to finally be created in 1995.

Since 2000, the GREYC has been a joint research unit associated with the CNRS, the University of Caen Normandy (UNICAEN) and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Ingénieurs de Caen (ENSICAEN).
